that choked me up a bit, I really did get misty eyed over that, I'm not one for sports games in general, but if it can realistically simulate my Cubs winning the World Series, I may have to check it out (God knows they probably won't win the real thing anytime soon)
The Cubs losing streak has become such a running joke that the only way to make a good commercial for a sports game is to demonstrate the emotion a fan would feel actually winning the world series playing as them? Well. It worked. I want this game now.

I have a friend who is a Cubs fan and I have to think its the most depressing commercial ever. If it was a Dodgers commercial I'd be bummed out by it.
I will count myself among the Xbox fanboys, but even I will admit that lately one thing Sony has been doing exceedingly well is commercials.
It's gotta happen one of these years.

Between this and the "Michael" ad, Sony's marketing of late excels at making gaming feel epic. If only they'd figured this out years ago.
Wow! This is a great ad. I know little to nothing about sports myself, but even I felt something watching this commercial. Good job Sony.
