Heh. "Extra Credits," one of those shows what uses lots of big words, gave "The Game OverThinker" a plug at the top of their newest episode.
I'm sure The OverThinker is totally grateful - or, at least he would be if I hadn't exiled him to a haunted forest in rural Minnesota ;)

@AntiThinker
You're an insult to hardcore gamers everywhere! My mom is more of a hardcore gamer than you!
nuff said.
Didn't know about this before the guys at extra credits mentioned it. Looks great.
Congrats! A friend of mine linked me some of your stuff and I think it's great. I happened to view some posts where you go on about how the style of games today is getting so "brown" - A short time ago I talked about something very similar in the miniature painting hobby - I'd be curious to get your input

It's good to see my sources of intertainment liking each other. I hope anyone who checks out these videos from EC watch the earlier videos instead of the most recent one. No offense AntiBob, but part 1 wasn't all that satisfying on it's own, for obvious reasons.
So you're still going with that TGWTG style gimmick, huh?
Woot~ AntiThinker!
Broseph, he really seems like sumone I can get along with, bro. Finally, someone who gets that the only genre allowed to exist is shooters.
What? You play a holy priest on WoW? Gheeeeeeeey noob. Tanking as a unholy death knight's where it's at.
[YouHaveNoHumor]
That was sarcasm.

@curt: Nice to know people still can get butthurt when somone did something remotely similar to someone before them.
@Twinmil:
Oh ma gahd! That is, liek the most funnehest joek I evar heard! You are sooo totally betar then him for doing that rieght.
[your humor<his]
In all honesty, your an idiot!

I didn't know that the comments were now a giant (tiny) dickwaving match. I guess me, and the other authors of at least half of the 94 comments just didn't get that the Game AntiThinker was pure genius and that's how we really act. Happy New Years anyway.
P.S. Your 110% pur'e genius...'e is still better than the imminent someone taking me seriously.
Are you, by any offchance, Rokkete, or Rokkit from WoW?
You would think that Anti-Thinker would be be the opposite of Over-Thinker in terms of their adherence to any sort of "schedule" for the release of their episodes. Alas, Anti-Thinker does have one major similarity to Bob in that he is also taking his sweet time to come out with a new episode.
Superficial differences aside, it's like they're the same person.
Hey Bob, why dont you do a retrospective on some of the most under-rated games ever.
Case in point: System Shock 2.
I could rave for hours on the Gameplay mechanics alone, not to mention the GUI which seamlessly allowed you to switch between "shooter" mode to inventory / stats / research etc with just the press of one lousy button.

So we're clear, this post was about plugging Extra Credits, the show, which, like Game Overthinker, gives an introspective look at video games, not another set of posts to show disapproval of the Anti-thinker. Don't take away from the original meaning, folks.
In all seriousness, I love watching Extra Credits. It's very, very clever.
Honestly that Daniel Floyd is one of the few people I'm really properly jealous of. Seriously, he makes possibly the best, most intelligent online gaming show around, AND he works for Pixar? And he's also a nice guy? Bastard. Some people make it look so easy don't they?
I'd love if you guys would do a crossover.
Foooooool! you told me, the only guy with internet in Minnesota were to find the game overthinker! i felt i was obligated to find and free him. and i did it. except now instead of making new awesome and intelligent movies, I'm using an exact replica of the headband from enslaved: odyssey to the west to force him to make me toast in the mornings. it took a while to find him though, this may be the land of 10,00 lakes, buts its also the home of over 25,000 haunted houses. next time don't tell the world were you are keeping your stowaway antitheses. (i sure as hell wont tell anybody were he is, i like my toast)
