The Escapist decided to let Your's Truly, Zero Punctation's Yahtzee and Extra Credits' James Portnow have a lil' email debate and assemble the result into a column. In other words: Two of the most important voices in the gaming world... and, for some reason, also me ;)
Here we are, debating the state of console gaming: Take a look.

Oh my goodness. Are you serious? Wow. You know what this means? take it to the next level. If you could do this in podcast form, I'd hit the roof. That said, it's a very novel idea having you 3 come together.
That was such a great read. Nice to see that even in writing, Yahtzee isn't beyond making sex jokes.
This is something I'd like to see more of and in video form, although I know that it might be unlikely.
Hooray! Three of gaming's cultural juggernauts finally meet for the first time for intellectual discussion! I was hoping something like this would happen sooner or later.
Sweet. This is the Batman vs. Superman vs. Spider-Man of videogame snobbery. I've got to say you all made really good points, I'm not even sure who I agree with more to be honest.
I'd love to see more of these, here's hoping they become a semi-regular feature.
I've been watching the GameOverthinker for years and I finally got off my butt and made my own video on YouTube in a similar vein to Bob's opening statement.
If you want to check it out, the link's:

It's nice to see that my fave 3 webpundits are joining forces and sharing opinions similar to mine.
Derr, but Mr. Overthinker, how culd u b talking 2 thos guis if ur in Warios Woods?!
Seriously, though, this is the most awesome thing I've seen on the Escapist! Definitely hoping for more of this!
A lot of people don't realize that everything that was gained in the transition from 8 bit to 16 bit was something developers felt was necessary, and everything lost in the transition from 8 bit to portable 8 bit was something developers felt was unnecessary. It's a stark contrast with the current environment, where almost every new piece of hardware is born unbidden, and dies unrealized.
That was awesome. I absolutely want more.
You are the 3 people I make a point to never miss a show of, so this is simply cool. And don't sell yourself short Bob, I've been watching your show since before I was watching Yahtzee and I'm as big a fan now as then. Are you guys taking suggestions for topics?
If you check the end of the article... Or at least the latest one, you'll see a link to an e-mail address taking suggestions.
It's actually thanks to you that I know every single one of you, you gave a plug to Extra Credits (James) and the escapist gave the link to arguably its most popular show Zero Punctuation (Yahtzee). Every week I make sure I see the new videos and it keeps me coming back for more. :-)
P.S: If you could, can you tell them about this comment I just wanted to show you all my appreciation, For The Game Overthinker, The Big Picture, Escape to the Movies, Zero Punctuation and Extra Credit Episodes I enjoy.
There's no doubt, the guy is completely right.
