WATCH/READ THIS: "Ode to Minions"

I dunno how many people remember to check it out here and there, but Matthew Taranto and Chris Seward's "Brawl in The Family" is consistently one of the better webcomics out there; especially considering it's working from a premise - goofing mainly on Super Smash Bros.-related franchises - that you'd think wouldn't have much room for growth.

To celebrate "strip #200," they've pulled out the stops for a musical episode. It's pretty damn great (the last three panels just SLAY ME), you can check it out HERE (make sure you enable the music):

And, since this is the Internet, here's a youtube of the panels "cut" to the song:

  2. I'm so happy to see BiTF getting exposure. I only stumbled upon it about a month ago, and I think it is brilliant. It's a perfect example of how innocent humour can be done well and can be just as funny as the more mature, adult stuff, the other key example being Homestar Runner. I'm hoping it takes off, it's far superior to most other web comics out there.

  4. You know what that song reminds me of?

And that completes the soul-crushing effect of the song. :(

(LOL I'm teh joking, teh joking)

But anyway, BITF is indeed one of the best web comics of all time.

BTW, what do you think of the enemy characters in Subspace Emissary in SMBB, besides the Mario enemies?

  6. Hilarious stuff, not to mention extremely catchy. Admittedly, I hadn't heard of Brawl in the Family before watching this video, but having now checked out several of their comics, I think they're brilliant.

Thanks a ton for posting this!
